Overview

Kew High School required a comprehensive internal refurbishment, particularly to their corridors, during the short Easter school holiday period, a non-negotiable two-week window when students and staff would be off-site.

The project involved multiple trades and a substantial scope of work, with a strict requirement for timely completion and adherence to budget.

Our commercial painting company was engaged for our proven ability to scale resources quickly, schedule and manage complex multi-trade projects, and meet deadlines.

Scope of Work

Painting

Full internal repaint of classrooms, corridors, administrative areas, and external areas with high visual impact.

Plastering

Wall and ceiling repairs across multiple areas of the school campus.

Carpentry

Odd jobs, including planing of doors to ensure operability with new flooring (floor level was raised).

Flooring

Removal of old broadloom carpet and vinyl, replaced with new carpet tiles (classrooms) and vinyl hybrid planks (corridors).

Our depth of labour capacity enabled us to work extended hours while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Multi-Trade Integration

Our in-house commercial painting specialists and trusted subcontractors for plastering, carpentry, and flooring ensured everything ran smoothly, without delays caused by trade handovers.

This integrated approach meant the school didn’t need to manage the stress of dealing with multiple contractors.

Dark and damaged corridors were updated with a contemporary finish that complemented the adjacent new extension.
